BLS and First Aid Training

"Good quality training is essential in delivering up to date medical care, but organising it can be time consuming and difficult.  Salus delivers this resource."

Salus runs and organises training sessions for federation staff (and now can provide First Aid at Work training for partner organisations and the wider public too).

The courses Salus arrange meet the requirements of NHS England and NICE. The First Aid at Work accredited courses are certified by Nuco Training, and meet the statutory requirements of the Health
and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

Salus is now operating accredited 1, 2 and 3-day First Aid Training courses, in addition to the regular unaccredited BLS sessions designed for Primary Care staff. These classes are for up to 12 people.

First Aid Trainer Sarah BROWN has 15 years of experience on front line ambulances and 5 years for Salus.

Our other (BLS) trainers are also experienced paramedics now working in Primary care.
